FAQ & Shipping Information
What kind of artwork do you offer?
Starbitters features a collection of original watercolor paintings and fine art prints. Each original painting is a one-of-a-kind piece, painted on high-quality cotton blend watercolor canvas, mounted on a durable paulownia wood frame, and finished with a layer of matte varnish for protection and longevity.
Are custom commissions available?
If you’re interested in a custom piece or project, please reach out to hello@starbitters.com to discuss availability, concept, and pricing.
Are the artworks framed?
Original paintings are mounted on a paulownia wood frame and ready to hang. No additional framing is required.
Prints are shipped unframed to allow flexibility for your preferred display style and to ensure safe, cost-effective shipping.
How should I care for my artwork?
To preserve your original painting or fine art print, follow these care guidelines:
Avoid direct sunlight. Even archival materials can fade with prolonged UV exposure.
Keep in a cool, dry space and avoid areas with high humidity.
Handle with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves to prevent smudging or oil transfer.
For prints, frame with UV-protective glass or acrylic for optimal longevity.
Original paintings are finished with a matte varnish to protect the watercolor surface. Prints are produced on acid-free, museum-quality paper sourced from Japan.
