I’m Sherry, also known as Starbitters—a name inspired by the idea of creating a beautiful cocktail of colors with a touch of intriguing "bitters" drawn from the stars.

I’m an artist, designer, and software engineer based in Tokyo, Japan. I live in a city that pulses with energy and vibrance, but within it, I’m always searching for—and finding—moments of peace. My work is an exploration of stillness within chaos. I believe that no matter how busy or overwhelming life becomes, we all carry within us a place of calm that we can return to. Inspired by mindfulness and the beauty of the present moment, my art aims to capture the delicate balance of light, shadow, and color that are unique to each moment.

I approach each project as a space to slow down, to notice, and to express something that doesn’t always translate into language. My background in technology gives me a deep appreciation for structure and systems, but I’m most interested in what happens when softness moves through structure—when emotion, light, and intention meet form. Starbitters is where all these pieces of me come together.
